Duke of York’s presents a season of late night Geek Films to coincide with the Brighton Digital Festival. The season features four films in which technology goes terribly wrong.

The first screening is Inception (2010), Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending exploration of the dream world. In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job to date: Inception.

The Caroline of Brunswick’s hugely popular sci-fi quiz goes digital this month to coincide with the Brighton Digital Festival! Expect rounds will be on Tron, artificial intelligence in sci-fi, computer sounds, and online gaming! The second in the season is TRON (1982), the original trapped-in-a-computer classic. A hacker is abducted into the world of a computer and forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program.

The third film in the season is Ghost in the Shell (1995), one of the all-time classic manga films. A female cyborg cop and her partner hunt a mysterious and powerful hacker called the Puppet Master.
